WHO CAN USE PIRATE SWAP?

In order to post a book for sale, a Seton Hall e-mail address is required. However, anyone is welcome to browse and connect with sellers.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF USING PIRATE SWAP?

For buyers, you'll enjoy paying less than the book store would charge (if they even have the used edition in stock) and you don't have to pay for shipping. Plus, you get to meet a real person and can talk a bit about the class. For sellers, you will likely receive more money than if you resell to the book store. It's that simple.

WHERE DO I PAY FOR A BOOK?

PirateSwap does not provide a payment mechanism, only a connection between a buyer and seller. Contact forms are provided on book detail pages. The contact form does not reveal the seller's identity, so it will be up to them to return your email.

WHAT IF I WANT PEOPLE TO CALL ME IF THEY WANT MY BOOK?

In the "book location" field, enter your phone number.

I SOLD MY BOOK, BUT PEOPLE KEEP CONTACTING ME

Simply log in and follow the "delete" link next to your listing.

WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER PROBLEMS/QUESTIONS?

If it's a technical issue, send a description of what you were trying to do and what the result was to support@pirateswap.com. If it's a general or administrative question, contact a Student Government representative (additional information to follow soon).

WHY DOESN'T MY ACCOUNT WORK ANY LONGER?

It may be you are typing your password incorrectly or have forgotten it, in which case you should reset your password. If anyone abuses the system, the administrators may disable your account. Abuse could be spamming the site, outlandish pricing serving only to entertain the poster rather than provide useful content to others, or other detrimental activities as student government representatives see fit.
